Join Own It creator Stevie Lee for two hours of Sexy Sweaty Chair Dance FUN at The Light Lounge At Verns in Elgin.

This 2 hour class will include the following:

7pm:

Introduction, warm up, walking and dancing in heels basics

7:20 pm- 8:40 pm :

Learn a BEGINNER LEVEL choreographed modern chair dance routine, that will get your heart pumping, body sweating and allow you to tap into the confidence that comes from embracing and embodying your sensuality. Stevie Lee teaches each move step by step to ensure that everyone follows along and feels confident.

8:30 - 9:00 pm :

Photos, videos, show off and chair stretch.

This class’s theme is BURLESQUE. Think sparkles, skin and over the top SEXY! This is a fun theme that allows you to be creative and create an outfit that makes you feel like a Las Vegas Showgirl. NO RULES. You can choose to dress up or not but the one thing to remember here is, dress in whatever makes you feel sexy! Stevie Lee invites you to step outside of your comfort zone, show some skin and wear something that makes you feel good about yourself! This class is the perfect excuse to do your hair and makeup, put on something sexy and look good for YOURSELF. Sexy leggings, booty shorts, sports bra, tank top, crop tops, short skirt, fishnets, leg warmers, thigh highs...... think sexy!

Tips for outfit selection:

Remember we will be dancing and sweating. You will want to be able to move freely and easily. We do not recommend corsets because they can restrict your movement. Other sexy accessories however are highly recommended 📷.

Shoes:

You may dance barefoot, in sneakers or in heels. This is totally your choice. We usually start barefoot or in our socks/gym shoes to warm up and wear our heels ½ through learning the routine.

Here are some keys to choosing the very best dance heels: First and foremost, you want your heels to be comfortable and stable. Closed toe or peep toe booties are great, knee high or thigh highs are fantastic as well. We highly recommend heels without a platform and a shorter heel is easier to dance in so it is recommended as well.

Hair:

You will want to wear your hair down or in a ponytail so that you can whip it around. Hair is sexy at all lengths. Let it be free and wild 

Drinks:

This is a workout and a PARTY! We will have water and Prosecco galore! Cheers
